(I've had a couple of nice emails as well though.) Lost in Translation is *fab* and we had a Christmas dinner at that hotel one year. I miss it enormously - not all the time, but occasionally the smell of the air first thing or some overheard Japanese tourists - we get a lot to Chester - sparks it again. Aw, thanks VP ;)

It's made me think a bit about a couple of diaries I've kept whilst travelling and stuff and what to do with them. Presumably you've seen the film Lost in Translation? It's 1 of our favourites and your descriptions of when you can't make yourself understood etc. reminds me so much of that film :) I can see you had a most fantastic experience - do you miss being there?
