For my purposes that was, not just generally wrong. It turned out too...I don't know...treacley-tasting, using the dark brown stuff. Anyway. I'm glad you've finally found a recipe that works for you - I'm surprised by the addition of egg and APPALLED by the addition of sultanas (my very worst thing ever in cooking to be honest) but if you guys like it then that's excellent.
