Mary mary

All the baby books say don’t worry what it sounds like, your baby will love to hear you sing. All they want is to hear your voice. I know toddlers are notoriously tricky, but does anybody else out there actually get a hand put over their mouth and told to STOP? Huh.

Heh, I remember that phase. “NOOOOOO Mummy, DON’T SING!”

Yup, ‘be quiet. it’s too noisy!’
They really do have no appreciation for our unique talents.

I have memories of growing up with my sisters yelling “Oh no! Mum’s singing again!” usually followed by appeals to me to get her to stop.
