Last week of school. A truckload of stuff has gone off into storage (\u2018we will not see this sofa for 3 years!\u2019 wailed Tamsin). We are keeping the village freecycle busy. We are accumulating suitcases. There is a lot of dust and few nutritional home-cooked meals. The cats are getting suspicious. I am going to miss the cats.<\/p>\n
I really hope any prospective tenants who actually want to come and view give 4 days\u2019 notice to tidy. I don’t have time to tidy.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, the Chinese government changed the visa rules. Cameron and I now need biometrics. Can we have them here? We cannot. Another schlep to London, in the school holidays, ideally without the children (thank goodness for a few good friends who may well swear about it when I am not listening but give every impression of being quite happy to have the girls, even overnight, if I ask very nicely.)<\/p>\n
Flights are booked. I have become very intolerant of stupid people, in cars, in shops and most of all online. And I just stormed crossly out of Boots, leaving a full-to-the-brim basket of essentials behind.
